Kindermusik Miss Rene Creative KeysKindermusik classes for ages newborn through 5 start Wednesday, October 7th with licensed educator Miss Rene. There will be three different classes: "Village" for ages newborn - 18 months, "Our Time" for ages 18 months - 3 years, and "Imagine That" for ages 3-5. Click here for a class and fee schedule.

    Kindermusik with Rene is:

CHILD CENTERED - In our classroom we celebrate the individuality of each child, respecting each developmental stage and inviting the children and families to explore, learn, grow, and contribute in their own way and at their own pace.

DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE - Kindermusik with Rene uses the latest early childhood research and conforms to the developmentally-appropriate guidelines established by the National Association for the Education of Young Children

CONCERNED WITH THE WHOLE CHILD - We rejoice that music and movement activities foster development of a child's intellectual, emotional, social, language, and physical skills. Every activity stimulates one area of development that automatically influences the others.

PROCESS, NOT PERFORMANCE-ORIENTED - We provide experiences for all developmental levels with no predetermined level of achievement demanded. Our goal is musical children rather than child musicians.

FUN FOR THE CHILD AND FOR FAMILIES - Children respond when something is fun and enjoyable. When children are emotionally connected and an experience is fun and enjoyable, the learning is intense.

INCLUSIVE OF THE PARENTS - You are the first and most important person in your child's life, and we want to support you in that role. We desire to reach and teach parents who will then support and continue the musical experiences with their child in the home using class activities and At Home Materials.
