Guitar Lessons

Our guitar and bass instructors teach a variety of styles including rock, jazz, blues, metal, country, bluegrass, folk, and classical. Guitar and bass lessons are offered on electric or acoustic instruments.

Students should bring their guitar or bass to class each week – however, we have instruments available for the first lesson so you can get started right away and get advice from the instructor on purchasing an instrument. All levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced, ages 6 to Adult.

Our guitar/bass instructors bring many years of teaching and performance experience to their lessons, along with college studies in music. They are all highly knowledgeable in music theory, and are well-versed in teaching and performing a variety of styles. Our teachers love helping students of all ages and levels to reach their goals on the guitar or bass.

Absolutely! We host more performance opportunities than any other school in the area. Each year we offer a variety of performances, including in-house performance parties, outdoor recitals at R.E. Olds Park amphitheater, outreach concerts at assisted living facilities, online showcases, and more. There are no participation fees for students and admission is free, so you can invite your family and friends without having to pay for tickets.

Our guitar instructors are warm and friendly, and get to know each student and parent on a personal level. Your teacher will work with you to craft a lesson plan that fits your individual needs and the student’s favorite type of music. Whether you’re playing in a local band, a seven year old taking their first lesson, or a fifty year old returning to the guitar after many years, your instructor will help you set goals to achieve your musical aspirations.
