Dallas is an up and coming guitar player/singer/songwriter with exceptional guitar skills and great pop sensibilities, all while still retaining his roots in blues and classic rock. He has been influenced by such greats as Hendrix, Zeppelin, The Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Wayne Shorter, Steve Morse, Andy Timmons and Scott Henderson as well as modern acts such as Green Day, Sublime, Sevendust, Soundgarden, Derek Trucks and countless other bands and artists.
With his first full-length album released in 2008 and his most recent EP released in 2012, Dallas is always writing and performing new material working with various artists both live and in the studio as well as producing on the side. He has recorded and performed with rock, blues, pop, electronic, folk, punk, jazz, fusion, rap and hip-hop artists, and is constantly expanding his musical horizons.
Born in Tallahassee, FL in 1983, Dallas grew up listening to his father play guitar as a young child. Just a few years later his family relocated to the Tampa Bay area where he has spent most of his life. Always having an interest in music since a young child, at the age of 14 he picked up the guitar and has been inseparable with both the instrument and music ever since.
Dallas graduated from the University of Miami in 3 years on May 11, 2012, and is continuing his study of both guitar and song writing as well as co-writing, recording and playing with local acts in Florida. Dallas has been a three-time top 10 finalist of the Bruce Hornsby Songwriters Showcase in 2009, 2010, and 2012 playing shows opening for Bruce Hornsby and the legendary Lemont Dozier.
