Chianna Di Domenico is a current student at St Petersburg College (graduating in the Spring) and will continue her education at a university with a goal of obtaining a degree in Music.  Chianna is teaching at Creative Keys as a “Student-Teacher” with piano lessons available at a 10% discount while she gains teaching experience.

Chianna’s music studies include 6 years of piano lessons at Creative Keys with Sarah Stevenson, along with instruction from pianist Slyvanna Fraga.  She began learning to play a multitude of instruments at age 7, which began a lifelong love of music.  She comes from a fine line of musicians, including a great aunt who was part of the South African Philharmonic Orchestra and played for Queen Elizabeth II of England.

Chianna has performed at numerous recitals, weddings, and corporate parties with pieces from a variety of composers including Gershwin, Chopin, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Dvorak, Webber, and Ffrench.  Chianna’s favorite composers are Rachmaninoff, Chopin, and Dvorak, and one of her favorite pieces to play is Mendelssohn’s Venetian Gondola Op. 30 No. 6.  She loves all genres of music from Classical and Celtic to Jazz, Rock, and Ragtime.  Chianna also enjoys composing and performing her own pieces.

SPOOKTACULAR STUDENT SHOWCASE

Students, get your spooky, mysterious, and dramatic pieces ready! Creative Keys will host a Spooktacular Student Showcase online over Zoom on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th! Students will submit 1 or 2 pieces (1 song for vocalists, please) and performances will be edited and compiled into a showcase for each time slot. Students, please feel free to wear a costume in your performance video! On the showcase date, students, teachers, family, and friends will meet together over Zoom for a watch party, where we will have live applause for each student (our Director, Hayley Fair, will emcee the event).

Please talk with your teacher about a plan for your performance and then sign up for a time slot on SignUp Genius. After you sign up, you will receive instructions on how to submit your video(s) and then 5-7 days before the event you’ll receive the Zoom information (feel free to privately share this with family and friends). Performances will be posted on YouTube a few days after the showcase so you can watch again and share. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Spooktacular Student Showcase!
