Private Music Lessons

Private music lessons are at the heart of Creative Keys Music Schools, located conveniently in Dunedin and Tampa (Carrollwood). As the premier music academy in North Pinellas County for 21 years, we added a second location in Tampa in August 2022. We have built a thriving community of over 750 students between our Dunedin and Tampa locations. Each teacher tailors private instruction to the individual student’s learning style and preferences. Lessons are offered to students ages 5 to adult with a wide offering of instruments such as piano, guitar, voice, violin, drums, and more.

In addition to private instruction, camps, workshops, and group lessons may be offered periodically throughout the year.

Teaching Studios

At Creative Keys, we prioritize providing exceptional private music lessons tailored to your needs. Our teaching studios are fully equipped with everything you require for your lessons. Each room is furnished with acoustic and digital pianos, amps, a complete drum kit (hybrid acoustic/electric), high-quality Manhasset music stands, mirrors (particularly helpful for voice students), and more. We aim to create a comfortable learning environment where you can focus on your musical journey.

For added safety and peace of mind, every room is equipped with a security camera as part of our family safety plan. We welcome family members to join in on the lessons by sitting in the studio. Simply inform our office or your teacher about your preference, and we’ll accommodate accordingly. Additionally, our spacious lobby offers a cozy atmosphere with WiFi access, a dedicated children’s area, and ample seating for family members to relax and enjoy their time.

Performance Opportunities

At Creative Keys Music School, we understand the significance of providing our students with regular performance opportunities as part of their private music lessons. We believe that frequent performances contribute to building confidence, enhancing motivation, and cultivating essential qualities like goal setting, determination, perseverance, and self-expression. These performances are optional and offered free of charge for students and their families.

We offer a diverse range of performance opportunities to cater to various interests and preferences. Examples include lively Performance Parties held in the inviting ambiance of the Creative Keys lobby.

Students have the chance to showcase their talents by immersing themselves in a stage experience at outdoor venues like R.E. Olds Park in Oldsmar or Carrollwood Village Park, and participating in recitals at local indoor venues such as The Music Gallery. In addition, we invite students to periodically perform for residents at assisted living communities. All of these events provide valuable platforms for students to celebrate their progress and musical achievements while having fun.
