Our bass instructors teach a variety of styles including rock, jazz, blues, metal, country, bluegrass, folk. Bass lessons are offered on electric or acoustic instruments. Students should bring their bass to class each week. All levels are welcome, from beginner to advanced, ages 6 to Adult.

What will I learn from bass lessons at Creative Keys Music School?

Beginner bass students can expect to work on simple songs, bass line construction, how to play with a drummer, sight reading, hand technique and theory. Our instructors balance musicianship and fun! Teachers use a variety of methods from well-known music publishers to help students learn and practice the basics while learning new skills on a weekly basis.

Do I need to purchase a bass to learn the instrument?

Yes, you will need to purchase an instrument to bring to class and to practice on at home. Creative Keys or the instructor can make recommendations on an instrument to buy.
