How Does The Summer Work?
Creative Keys is a year-round music school, and lessons continue as usual throughout the summer.
- Enrollment stays strong during June, July, and August, typically at 90% or higher.
- Summer is also a popular time for new students to begin lessons, since many have more free time and fewer school-year commitments.
- Keeping your current lesson time reserved helps ensure consistency in learning and allows your student to continue with the same instructor year-round.
- Staying enrolled over the summer also means your spot is secure and ready when the back-to-school season begins.
If you need to miss lessons during the summer, there are a few options to help:
- Attend a free 45-minute enrichment session
- Ask your teacher about possible courtesy lessons, which may be available during the summer months
- Let a friend or family member use your lesson slot temporarily
For example, if your student is away at camp, a sibling or even a parent can use that lesson time and give music lessons a try.
Please note:
- If you choose to pause lessons and stop payment for the summer, your time slot may be offered to a new student.
- Because summer enrollment remains high, it may be difficult to find another opening with your teacher when you are ready to return.
